Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro State (UNIRIO). Over 4 years of experience, and currently working as a Specialist in Industrial Property, focusing on Molecular Biology and Biochemistry arts.

Post-graduated in innovation by Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, known as Fiocruz and finishing a Master’s Degree in Industrial Property and Technology Transfer,  developing new technologies for drugs, with emphasis in Biological Genetics and Phytotherapeutic patents.

She´s also graduating in Law from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro State (UNIRIO), and was recently invited to teach at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).

Before joining HNES, Joyce worked as a research assistant in two biomedical laboratories and with renowned patent attorney firms in Brazil.

Joyce is fluent in Portuguese and English.
