Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), M.Sc. and PhD in the area of ​​Management and Technological Innovation, two post-doc studies, both in the field of business engineering, in partnership with Oxiteno S / A,  Indústria e Comércio-Mauá, the UFRJ School of Chemistry and Braskem.

She is currently Coordinator of the Center for Industrial and Technological Studies (NEITEC – www.neitec.com), UFRJ; Professor of the undergraduate and masters programs at UFRJ; Professor and coordinator of the Technological Prospecting course at PROFNIT® (Post-Graduate Program in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation); Member of the Technology Committee of the Brazilian Chemical Industry Association (ABIQUIM), the Petrochemical Commission of the Brazilian Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels Institute (IBP) and the Advisory Board of the Brazilian Association of Chemical Engineering (ABEQ); Coordinator of the extension course in chemical engineering and specialization in business management for the chemical industry (EQ / UFRJ and ABIQUIM).

She is also researcher of the knowledge management research groups of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), the health prospecting group of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ), and adviser to projects coordinated by FINEP, by Pensa Rio (FAPERJ), Carioca De Catalisadores Factory and SENAI. She is a Visiting Professor at the University of Porto, Portugal.

She serves as a specialist in the elaboration of knowledge maps, technological roadmaps, technological prospecting, studies of productive chains and in foreign trade, with emphasis in the areas of management and innovation and organization and industrial studies. Her specialty is technology information management by means of highly specialized tools.
